Even if it feels like Dark Souls II just came out, Japanese developer FromSoftware is already plugging away at its next likely impossible-to-beat action RPG, Bloodborne.

Making its debut at last night’s Sony E3 presentation, the PS4 exclusive appears to be going full goth(ic), adding a healthy dose of blood and guts to make exploration of the game’s city even more intense. Here’s the official synopsis:

“Introducing Bloodborne, the latest Action RPG from renowned Japanese developer FromSoftware, exclusively for the PlayStation®4 system. Face your fears as you search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam, now cursed with a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets like wildfire. Danger, death and madness lurk around every corner of this dark and horrific world, and you must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive.”

Bloodborne will be out sometime in 2015.
