Disney’s D23 Expo 2015 begins today (Friday!) in Anaheim, California, and aside from all the forthcoming news on various Disney-related films and theme parks sure to drop this weekend, this is also a great convention for picking up exclusive collectible itemsâincluding a series of amazing screen prints made just for this convention.
There will be several new officially licensed screen print releases from well known artists like Mark Englert, JC Richard, Dave Perillo, Joe Dunn, and many more. The whole spectrum of Disney is covered here: from classic films like Beauty and the Beast and Fantasia, to recent theatrical shorts like Paperman and Feast, to this summer’s (dare-I-say) already classic Pixar film Inside Out. The theme parks are represented with a retro style Jungle Cruise print, andâof courseâthe upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens has not one, but two prints available. Below are just some of the beautiful art you’ll be able to purchase at the Expo this weekend.
Cyclops Print Works will be releasing a set of Walt Disney Animation Studios Short Films Collection handbills by artist and Disney art director Joe Dunn. The collectible 5″ x 5″ 5-Color Serigraph handbills will be passed out throughout the Expoâone for each of the 12 short films included in the new Walt Disney Animation Studios Short Films Collection, which comes out on home video soon.

Also from Mark Englert is a print showcasing characters from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This one will be available to fans at the Art Awakens booth (#1415) as a 20″ x 20″ metal limited edition print. Proceeds will benefit UNICEF Kid Power initiative in the name of Star Wars: Force for Change.
