Cyber Monday: Nerdist’s 3rd Annual Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway

Happy Holidays! We’re officially past Thanksgiving, in the middle of Chanukah, and now in a final countdown toward Christmas, which means it’s time to get moving on getting your family and friends presents. If you want suggestions we’ve made guides for Whovians, Throners, comic books, movies, TV box sets & more. We even made a gift guide for people you barely know.  With all of these guides, we couldn’t help but get in the giving spirit ourselves. We’ve decided that we’re going to giveaway as much of what we included in our gift guides as we possibly can in one fell swoop. Break it up and consider your Christmas shopping done, keep everything for yourself, donate it all to charity, the choice is yours if you win this ginormous prize package. To enter for a chance to win this massive haul of prizes, jump down to the comments. Leave your name and email address, then tell us which prize in the gift guide you are most excited about.

Fans of DC comics have a lot to be happy for this year. The triumphant trio of Supergirl, Wonder Girl and Batgirl PVC figures from Super Best Friends Forever are being included. If you prefer a stop motion silhouette on your shelves, the Aardman Shorts DC Nation action figure set is right up your “Crime Alley.” (I’m not sorry.) Fans of holiday exclusives will also be happy to hear we’re giving away an Ame-Comi Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn Holiday 2-pack.

While many fans were trepidatious about Before Watchmen, we found a lot to like in the prequel series. Highlights include Darwyn Cooke’s Minute Men and Silk Spectre. Included in this years prize is an entire set of the prequel series in hardcover form. As Fables begins its march toward finality, we’re also throwing in a Fables Encyclopedia, Fairest In All the Land, and The Unwritten: Tommy Taylor and the Ship That Sank Twice. And for the traditional superhero lovers in the crowd, we’re giving Superman and Lois Lane 75th anniversary hardcovers.

To the Star Wars fans amongst you, we’re including Darth Vader, Stormtrooper and C-3PO business card holders from Kotobukiya. But, since we used the Force, we’re also giving away a full line of Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series. All of your favorites from a galaxy far, far away in 6″ form.

For those that fell in love with our Game of Thrones Gift Guide, we’re including Dark Horse’s Jon Snow & Ghost statue, Iron Throne 7″ replica, Tyrion

Lannister statue, White Walker bust and a GoT lunch box. But, if you’re more tech inclined than “Westeros will be mine”, we’ve got Transformers Prime. All 3 seasons on Blu-ray will be yours as well as a Transformers Generations Metroplex and a Predaking. You’re going to have the largest Autobot ever made and the mightiest Predacon in your home if you’re the lucky winner.

If you were hoping to fill your book shelf with actual books this year, we can help with the Superman: The Ultimate Guide & Batman: The Ultimate Guide. Other books we’re including for the occasion include Shadow Walk by Max Brooks, Mark Waid, and Shane Davis, Super Graphic: A Visual Guide to the Comic Book Universe by Tim Leong, The Art of Ender’s Game and J.J. Abrams and Doug Dorst’s S. Speaking of JJ, you can own his vision of the Star Trek universe, as well as every other Star Trek director’s vision, in the Stardate Collection. Plus, Star Trek Into Darkness, so you can proudly say you own every Star Trek feature film. If that’s not enough, we’re also including the Mr. Spock Logic and Prosperity Box. So stick that in your warp drive and smoke it.

From the Doctor Who gift guide, we’re including the Eleventh Doctor  & Dalek Mister Potato Head figures, an Eleven Doctors Mini Figure Set, a Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Blind Box Vinyl Figure, a TARDIS Night Light, a Dalek Knit Cap and a Complete Series 1-7 Blu-ray Set with Eleventh Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote. We’re also going to throw in “Classic Who” titles The Tenth Planet, The Ice Warriors, Spearhead from Space Blu-ray, Terror of the Zygons, and The Green Death.

Let’s get busty with these amazing statues and busts from our various guides. The Kotobukiya Deathstroke & Catwoman ARTFX+ Statues will bring the right amount of evil to your Christmas eve. But a Sideshow Collectibles Life Size Batman bust will keep them in line. This holiday though, get smashed with a Kotobukiya Hulk Fine Art statue. If the big statues are too much, how about a couple of Dark Horse Hellboy 5″ Mini Qees. And once they’re all set up, take pot shots at them with a Iron Man 3 – Motorized Arc FX Gauntlet.

If the holidays get too boring for you and yours, we’re setting you up with enough board and party games to make you forget you’re hanging with family. The Funny or Die game, Trivial Pursuit Party, Zombie Cribbage, and Doctor Who Yahtzee will provide at least one game everyone can agree on.

For the music men or women in your life we’re going to keep the tunes going with The Beatles: Live at the BBC Collection and Released: The Human Rights Collection 1986-1998.

What would the holidays be without a little love from the land of Oz. The Wizard of Oz 75th Anniversary Set has plenty of extras and surprises to keep a fan of the Wonderful Wizard occupied for days. We’re also kicking in even more movies from our “I-barely-know-them” and movie stocking stuffer guides. Monsters University, The Little Mermaid, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year, and Planes all from the folks at Disney.

Shout Factory is keeping us in John Carpenter Blu-rays this holiday including They Live, Assault on Precinct 13, Prince of Darkness, Body Bags, The Fog, and Halloween II. They’re also behind the Vincent Price and Bruce Lee sets that will look great on your mantle. Some of our favorite TV shows got complete series sets this year. Boy Meets World, Saved By the Bell, Dexter and Burn Notice will make your post-Christmas marathoning a breeze.

For the action-oriented fan we have The Wolverine: Unleashed , Captain America, The Jack Ryan Collection, The Hobbit: Extended Version, World War Z, Pain and Gain, Anchorman: The Rich Mahogany Edition,  The Way Way Back, The Internship, The Heat complete with a commentary track where director and former podcast guest Paul Feig (where gives his own movie the MST3K treatment). Speaking of MST3K, we’re including the Mystery Science Theater 3000: 25th Anniversary Edition.

And finally, if you need some practicaltiy in your presents, we’re including an assortment of phone cases from Speck, a Skylanders Wii-mote, two Skylanders mini-Xbox 360 controllers and a MOGA to turn your phone into a console.

The contest begins today and entries must be received by midnight on Thursday, December 12th, 2013. To enter to win this massive haul of prizes enter your name and email address, then tell us which prize in the gift guide you are most excited about in the comments below. With all those little monkeys in my life Christmas and birthdays are not affordable for me. It would be awesome to give them something more than a 3 minute phone call this year.
