Custom Darth Vader Leather Armor Makes You Look Like a Sith Sir

A long time ago, in a galaxy, far, far away, there lived a father of two, twins to be exact. He had everything, from enough midi-chlorians to extreme force-wielding abilities, he was even considered to be the chosen one. Devotion was not his strong suit though. Some would say he had it all but that was not enough for this young Jedi, he wanted the power to save his now belated wife. Instead, he got into a dreadful accident involving lava.

It is a tragic tale, one that warns against the allure of the dark side but at least one good thing came out of it: a rad black armor suit that struck fear into anyone who even caught a glimpse of it. The whole ensemble is topped off by the life-providing helmet and a sick cape to go along with it. I would say it was all worth it.

Our precautionary tale is of course about the most notorious force wielder, Darth Vader. The baddest of the bad, as they say. His suit of armor is iconic at this point but what if Star Wars did take place a long time ago, relative to our time? Maybe even occurring during medieval times? Well, feast your eyes on the bad boy above.

Created by the good folks over at Prince Armory and posted on deviantArt, we get this medieval full-leather re-imagining of the quintessential baddie look. It is flashy, time appropriate, and full of swag. It is even perfect for those times you want to go on a pretend evil rampage looking like a sir.

I’d like to imagine that a Darth Vader in this getup wouldn’t fight with lightsabers, he would instead joust with mighty blades crafted by the finest blacksmiths of the land. How about taking this idea to the next level and creating a Game of Thrones-like Star Wars where each season our favorite characters got offed. Disney, get on that.

I don’t know how useful this armor would actually be in the middle of combat but hey, it looks fantastic. If anything it will distract the enemy as they stare in awe of its majesty. Now, joust your way to the comments section below and let us know what sir-like re-imaginings you’d like to see. As always, stay away from the dark side, unless a breathtaking (force choke joke) armor is promised.
