Ah, nerd love; there truly is nothing else like it. The passion, the in-jokes, the stunts. There’s a ton of things geeky couples have done in the past in order to blend their beloved aspects of pop culture and their big wedding day. For newlyweds Robert and Rebecca, they decided to add a live bit of Star Wars spice to the same old reception traditions. So, during their first dance together they acquired two lightsabers from under the head table, queued up the “Anakin vs. Obi-Wan” theme from Revenge of the Sith, and proceeded to duel across the dance floor.

Their battle is not all that fast-paced or meticulously choreographed—and he does drop his lightsaber at one point—but it is very obvious the two had a lot of fun during their Dance of the Fates.

If only we could all have something that special in our lives—even if there are some of you out there who will cough criticize their choreography. Because honestly, while the lightsaber fights in the films could get intense and wild at times, they also had some really cringe-worthy moments. Anyone remember this moment from Revenge of the Sith?
