We’ve seen it in films, video games, comics, and cartoons, but never before have we seen someone actually pull off a lightsaber force throw in real life. Of course that has to do with the fact that The Force is unable to be harnessed by us mere Earth-folk, but some don’t let that stop them.
A performance artist named FloWarrior took to the floor at the Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo last weekend to show off a few of his moves with his lightsaber. FloWarrior uses a special flow wand rig, hence his name, to recreate the awesome lightsaber throwing skills we’ve all seen and loved in an awesome display of Sith power.
FloWarrior offered his short demonstration in front of the Genesis Custom Sabers booth on the show floor. The video is actually one shot by Red Sapphire Media, a friend of Mr. FloWarrior. It is also worth a mention that the lightsaber he uses for his force throwing display is one Genesis Custom Sabers built for him.
It is always an awesome sight when someone is able to take multiple passions and turn them into something new. Be sure to check out their sabers over at the Genesis website, and FloWarrior’s page on Facebook.
What do you think of these skills? Let us know in the comments below!
