The government may be shut down, but that’s no excuse to not care about how you look. Sure, you can’t visit a National Park, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look good while not visiting a national park. If anyone knows a thing or two about looking good, it’s cosplayers. This is why I’ve compiled my weekly list of the Net’s best, brightest and most bizarre cosplays, in a column we like to call Cosplay Friday.
Because we can all bi-partisan about cosplay!
Let’s start the week off with a fantastic Dark Phoenix cosplay. You can tell she’s evil because her hair is glowing.
New York City taxi driver, meet Felicia Hardy. It’s your (un)lucky night.
Paine from Final Fantasy X-2 asks, “What were you saying about the new games being too linear? Yeah, that’s what I thought.”
The Navy really is expanding their hiring policies. (Awesome Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni cosplay)
Fantastic Bleach cosplay. I’m not going to attempt to be funny. It looks like a lady M.Bison crossing guard. I love this.
I woke up not knowing what Defense Devil is, but after this cosplay, you better believe I’m remedying that.
Worst barber ever. (But a great Psycho Pass cosplay!)
Obligatory monthly Tifa cosplay. Because… it’s Tifa!
Yes, Gabrielle, you look great. I don’t want to speak out of turn, but shouldn’t you be hunting vampires?
“I may not always kill Titans, but when I do, I kill them with gas powered grapple hooks.” The most interesting Pixis in the world.

Crap,
Chris beat me to it…
That song & whole game is pretty dam good too if anyone was wondering.
Oh yeah, and as usual great post.
The lady m. bison cosplay is not Bleach. Meiko Senbonzakura seems to have to do with some game dancing game for the PS3 called Project Diva F.
While some of the photos have the photographer’s copyright water mark, it would be nice to see the model’s name and the photography receiving credit in the little blurb below the photo.
