Don’t you love when an amazing costume and fantastic photography come together? I am constantly coming across that perfect combination when I search for pictures to include in Cosplay Friday every week. This time around, this gorgeous Young Justice Starfire ensemble by Itakichan caught my eye. It’s vibrant and shiny and matches the character’s look pretty closely, and the setting, composition, and editing really set it off. Look:

Isabelle, a.k.a. Itakichan, has made another version of Starfire’s costume, but this shot is part of the first photoshoot for this iteration. She said she was inspired by another cosplayer, Bec’s Cosplay Wonderland, to make a new Starfire outfit (Becs has made about a million different takes on Starfire). You should never be put off cosplaying a character just because it’s been done before; only you can make your version, so it will be unique.
