If you ever feel like your tank of cosplay ideas is running on empty, don’t despair. The Internet is here for inspiration. There are always various approaches to every costume – even one that’s been tackled dozens of times. I still see takes on Elsa from Frozen that I don’t expect – example: Elsa Fett. A few simple ways to add twists to outfits are gender swapping, mash-ups, and humanizing an inanimate object. We’ve got examples of all three methods in this week’s Cosplay Friday.

There’s a mash-up featuring Ryuk from Death Note and Snow White, gender bent Tadashi and Hiro Hamada from Big Hero 6, and a terrific human interpretation of the Impala from Supernatural. See those costumes and more in the below gallery:
