Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion’s CON MAN Debuts Hilarious New Trailer

Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion are two funny guys. And you’ll be able to see just how funny they are on Wednesday when Vimeo premieres their new web series Con Man.

The series centers on the post-show life of Wray Nerely (Tudyk), the co-star of Spectrum—a sci-fi show that was prematurely canceled but went on to become a cult favorite. Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore (Fillion) starred as the series’ Captain and has since become a massive celebrity. Wray never reached these heights, though, and is instead the begrudging guest at sci-fi conventions and comic book store appearances around the country. The series will explore these events and all the weird, crazy things that happen along the way. And knowing Tudyk and Fillion’s wacky sense of humor,  those ‘things’ are sure to escalate to extremes.

Check out the trailer:

The show looks like a hysterical, character-driven laugh-fest, so I don’t know about you but… I feel like its debut can’t come soon enough! And to get you even more excited, Con Man features a slew of big names from the sic-fi world, including Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), Gina Torres (Firefly, Suits), Amy Acker (Person of Interest), Jewel Staite (Firefly), Seth Green (Austin Powers), Summer Glau (Firefly), Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers), Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings) and even Joss Whedon! Oh, and Felicia Day plays Tudyk’s secretary, which is very cool.
