Comic Book Day: Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY & CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER

Comic-Con 2013 may have come and gone, but we’ve still got some brand new footage for your viewing pleasure from Marvel’s press line in which the Nerdist News team – and yours truly – got to catch up with the cast and filmmakers behind two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most anticipated new entries, Captain America: The First Avenger and Guardians of the Galaxy. With Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Rooker, Dave Bautista, a newly bald Karen Gillan, and more in attendance, we take you behind the scenes of the MCU. Plus, if you were paying attention to Twitter on that day of the con, you may remember that Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo were ending every interview by dropping the mic battle rap-style and making falcon sounds, so keep your ears peeled for that in the background.

Stay tuned later today for even more Marvel interviews from Disney’s D23 Expo and much more on the Nerdist Channel. What do you think of Marvel’s Phase II films? Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below or hit me up on Twitter.
