Joe Hill (Locke & Key) stops by our new venue in NYC to chat about the genesis of the book, where it’s going next, and some teases about its TV future. Also, find out the secret history of Batman writer Scott Snyder!
This Week’s Stack: Irredeemable #37, Batman Incorporated #1, Chew #26
NOTE: This week’s podcast unfortunately cut off right before the end of the show, hence the abrupt finish. You missed Alex plugging Angel & Faith #10, Joe talking about The Cape, and that’s about it! Sadly, it was the best five minutes of the show, though, so you should have come out to see it live. OH, WELL.
Check out our website at comicbookclublive.com to find out how to watch the show live! And follow us on Twitter: @comicbooklive, @azalben, and @jtsizzle.
Sadness, I want more of the youtube show. I prefer to watch not just listen it adds to the dynamic
@Moho: create a photo album of us in iPhoto, and then set the music on your slideshow to our latest podcast! It’s exactly the same, right? ::sobs::
Too bad about the youtube guys, still going to keep listening.
@Jason: Will do?
@DiggityD: thanks so much! And hey, if you like something on the Nerdist Channel, watch the heck out of it and spread the good word 🙂
Make it happen, Captain!
I’m in agreement with @amysrevenge last comment. Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Well, again, thank you guys for sticking with it; and if you’re ever in NYC on a Tuesday, do stop by and say hello!
I’m just funnin’. Became a big fan over the past few weeks; sad to see the end (temporary or otherwise) of the video show, but glad that there’s still new content.
Wow, YouTube commenter much? I thought seeing all your faces was wonderful- if you do another, I’m on board.
@amysrevenge: intro music is still there, just the very beginning of it! And it’s usually at the end, this week just got a bit cut off. Thanks for following us over!
@Kass: I’m pretty sure amysrevenge meant that one of our faces was so gorgeous, they could build a radio in our likeness. Right? Anyway, we’ll keep you posted 🙂
I’m a transplant from the YouTube show, and I like the extended format of the audio show.
And since one of you guys has a face made for radio (I’ll leave it to you to guess which), this format is probably just as good from my perspective.
I did like the intro music on the video show though…
@Jake: yeah, YouTube show got cancelled for now, but we’re still doing it live in NYC every Tuesday – and audio podcasting through Nerdist, as you can see 🙂 We are talking about some stuff for the future though, so you’ll get to see our ugly mugs sooner or later!
What happened to the youtube show? Did they cancel it?
