I know, it’s a tired meme, but go ahead, nominate your Best and Worst Christmas Songs in the comments. Christmas Eve Day’s a holiday, too, right? Sure it is.

  1. Joey says:

I don’t understand all the hate for “Wonderful Christmastime”! I think it’s a good song to listen to around the holidays. My favorites are definitely all of Vince Guaraldi’s songs for Peanuts, with David Bowie/Bing Crosby’s rendition of “Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiXjbI3kRus) close behind.

  2. Wapcaplett says:

Since Fairytale was already taken, I’ll have to say Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses. Cheesy and 80’s as all get out, but it still gives me a warm Christmassy feeling deep down. Where I’m soft. Like a woman.

  3. Luanne says:

Ugh- ‘Christmas Shoes’ sucks BALLZ… I always imagine that kid begging for money is part of a gypsy scam & he’ll just return those shoes for the $$. Your mom’s on her deathbed & you’re browsing at the mall, kid?!?! PLEASE. What the hell a dead lady needs shoes for, I don’t know.

The best Xmas song is actually a tie between ‘The Christmas Song’ by Nat ‘King’ Cole, or ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ by Judy Garland.

    Merry Xmas nerds!
