Weâre officially one week away from the new season of Teen Wolf, and that is wonderful news because Teen Wolf is excellent. Donât fight with us on this, itâs good. We know you donât want to believe it, but we can assure you, weâre not possessed by any nogitsune sprits.
At the end of last season, the show saw some major cast shake-ups, and these changes have now been reflected in the first look at the season four opening credit sequence provided by MTV:
So Crystal Reedâs out (obviously) and Shelley Hennig and Arden Cho are in. Cool.
The very end of last season showed us a glimpse at the dynamic thatâll be taking place between the new and old cast members, a tease in particular between Stiles and Malia that implied a possible romance between them in the future. That would be nice; Stiles could use a bit of a love life after last season’s torturous events. As for Kira, odds are she and Scott will continue down their little lovebird path that began last season.
Missing from this credit sequence, sadly, is the return of Jill Wagner a/k/a Kate Argent. We know sheâs gonna have some heavy involvement in this season based on the recently released trailer, but it would have been cool to see her in the credit sequence. Then again, most of the adult cast has never been featured in it; lord knows J. R. Bourne deserves a spot.
