While we were able to get a little taste of what Gears of War: Judgement has to offer last year at E3 (new control scheme, new class-based multiplayer modes, no playable Marcus Fenix!), it doesn’t compare to the game play we’re seeing in this bloody new launch trailer which rolled out today. While this trailer for Epic Games’ and People Can Fly’s latest Gears of War doesn’t delve too much into the story, a prequel which centers on Lt. Damon Baird and Cole Augustus’ court-martial in the wake of the Locust appearance on Emergence Day, it does go heavy on the action, especially the kind where you saw aliens in half with your signature chainsaw-attached-to-an-assault-rifle. And when you’re dismembering all manner of evil monsters, everyone wins.
