Terry Crews Joined Us to Battle for Azeroth on Our Newest CELEBRID&D

Whether you’re for The Horde or The Alliance, we all need strong warriors to stand beside us in battle. And for the latest session of our series CelebriD&D, we found perhaps the strongest warrior we could imagine to stand by our side—and one with some serious acting and comedy chops to boot! Joining us for a round of help us fight for Azeroth in a new round of Dungeons & Dragons is none other than Terry Crews!

Sponsored by World of Warcraft, we teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment to celebrate the upcoming release of their World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Expansion later this month, with a special edition of our recurring series where celebrities roll with us (literally) through our latest mini D&D mini-campaign. Watch as Matt Mercer of Critical Role leads Crews (playing as Horde warrior Thodak the Blacksmith) and voice actors Marisha Ray, Ashly Burch, Troy Baker, Taliesin Jaffe, and our very own Jessica Chobot on an adventure that will force them all to declare their allegiance in the latest epic fight between the sides.

We know that just like when Vin Diesel joined us for a session, just like when Joe Manganiello rolled with us, and just like when John Bradley sat with us for a round, everyone is just roleplaying. But no matter how nice he is and no matter how much it was to play with him, when Terry Crews threatens to crush your skull it carries a little more weight.

So are we for The Horde or The Alliance? We’re gonna go with whatever side Terry Crews declares for.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard Entertainment’s seventh expansion, launches in North America at 3 p.m. PT on August 13, and around the world on August 14. You can pre-order the expansion right here!

Which race and class would you choose if you had to face off against Terry Crews? Tell us in the comments section below.
