Last summer, Fox’s genre miniseries Wayward Pines proved itself as television that was not to be missed. The number one new show of the season saw an all-star cast bring the world from author Blake Crouch’s international best-selling series of books to life. Led by Matt Dillion, the first season ended on an unbelievable note. Now, starting next week, the 10-episode second season will pick up after the shocking events of season one, with the residents of Wayward Pines battling against the iron-fisted rule of the First Generation.
From Academy Award-nominated storyteller M. Night Shyamalan, season two of the terrifying series stars Jason Patric, Djimon Hounsou, and Hope Davis, who must fight to preserve the endangered human race. For fans of the series, the new season promises to connect the dots between the past and the present and finally begin to solve the mystery of the terrifying “Abbies” who currently rule the world. Additionally, several season one cast members will appear in season two, including Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, Melissa Leo, Tim Griffin, Shannyn Sossamon, and, of course, Charlie Tahan as Ben Burke.
