CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Will Screen At CinemaCon

Comic book movie fans, are you not entertained?! In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Lex Luthor described the titular hero fight as “the greatest gladiator match in the history of the world.” Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Civil War may also claim that title with its Captain America vs. Iron Man battle. Fittingly enough, Civil War is getting an advance screening in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Marvel Studios and Disney have allowed Captain America: Civil War to be shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 13. CinemaCon is run by the National Association of Theatre Owners, which means that they’re getting an advance look at Civil War before it gets a North American release on May 6.

In Captain America: Civil War, the battle lines are drawn over the future of superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Avengers have been divided between Captain America and Iron Man.  Joining Team Cap are the Falcon, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Agent 13 (a.k.a. Sharon Carter), and Cap’s World War II buddy, the Winter Soldier. As for Team Iron Man, Tony Stark has assembled War Machine, Black Widow, the Vision, Black Panther, and the teenage superhero he calls “underoos.” However, comic book fans know him better as their Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!
