Bumbershoot, like many great music and arts festivals, has sustained a very nice comedic presence in their line-ups over the past few years. 2014 seems to be no different for Seattle’s annual showcasing of “art from the Great Northleft” with getting a big chunk of wonderful comedy scheduled along with their routinely amazing line-up for music from August 30th to September 1st at The Seattle Center.
Earlier this week, they tweeted the official comedy line-up for the show:

If you’re lucky enough to be in attendance at Bumbershoot, you should definitely catch some of our favorites like Pete Holmes’ You Made It Weird, Paul F. Tompkins’ Dead Authors Podcast, Rory Scovel, Startalk Live with Bill Nye and Eugene Mirman, The Improvised Shakespeare Company, Doug Loves Movies with Doug Benson, W. Kamau Bell, Ted Alexandro, Cristela Alonzo, Matt Braunger, Beth Stelling, PDX Comedy Block Party, and more. You can expect a great blend of live stand-up, live podcast tapings, sketch segments, improv sets, and late night comedy to take place over the course of the event. You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes tends to have some of it’s most unforgettable episodes when it’s recorded live during festivals, for those who weren’t aware.
Tickets range from a single-day pass to a 3-Day Platinum pass start a the reasonable price of $50. If you’re in the Seattle area, you can not only catch a fantastic line-up of some of the most exciting bands of today, but the comedy heavy hitters of the present as well.
