Bryan Cranston Returns as LBJ in ALL THE WAY For HBO

Shortly after Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston landed a Tony win earlier this year for his work on Robert Schenkkan’s play All The Way, word came down that Steven Spielberg (through his Amblin banner) was in the process of optioning the play for adaptation. It’s been confirmed Cranston and Spielberg are turning the hit play into an all new film for HBO.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Robert Schenkkan will stay onboard to write the script for the film with Cranston reprising his role as Lyndon B. Johnson and Executive Producing with Spielberg. HBO has not announced a release date, but we’re going to guess it’s coming in the future.

Cranston has been lauded for his work and will continue to dominate the prestige television landscape for at least one more Emmy season. Are you excited for a new Bryan Cranston performance on the small screen? Let us know in the comments below.
