In just a smidge over a month, the final season of RocketJumpâs highly successful web series, Video Game High School, will debut its final season to the masses. The series has been an astounding journey in not just storytelling, but also in what it means to make a television series. RocketJump proved you can make a broadcast length program with minimal funds (the budget for each season has been less than that of any traditional television series single episode) and crew, and is really on the verge of being one of the biggest names in the rising age of televisionâs indie scene. So, while we anxiously wait for the premiere of VGHS season three, IGN has unveiled a brand new, action packed clip for you to feast your blood-shot eyes upon:
Nothing says VGHS like a lovely clip of Brian and Ted kicking pixilated butt. Sure, the two best buddies might be at odds, but together they can do just about anything.
In season two, the RocketJump crew upped the stakes of the series in every way possible. The action was cooler, the tech was far more advanced (all the action scenes in season two were shot in the ever-evolving 48fps format) and the story was much more TV-like (compared to the movie style of the first season that only featured the A plot of Brianâs journey). With season three, all we can hope is that the crew has upped the ante one more time in order to allow the series to go out with a digital bang.
Video Game High School premieres October 13th.
