Catch Up on All of BREAKING BAD in a One Minute Animated Short

This week marked the tenth anniversary of the debut of AMC’s Breaking Bad and the internet has been so excited about it you might think everyone’s hopped up on that ol’ Heisenberg Blue. Replays of the series, fan art, breakdown videos and all sorts of Breaking Bad-inspired stuff saw an uptick in popularity this week, including this concise one minute recap of the whole dang series.

The show hasn’t really left the pop culture collective hive mind since Better Call Saul is still bringing us back to Albuquerque, and Breaking Bad marathons are pretty much the only thing that could possibly rip us away from weekend marathons of Law & Order: SVU. Still, seeing the major events of the entire series in this animation by YouTube’s Esther Bellido makes us want to take some time off from Benson and Stabler in order to catch AMC’s next full play-through.

The short animation hits all the epic plot points from the series in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it way that has us thankful for the .25 speed playback function on YouTube. And although it’s simplified, the details the video has are still incredible. The first time around you might see the gaudy dress shirt choice by Saul Goodman, the fly inside the laundromat lab, or the words “Hola DEA” written on Tortuga‘s…well…tortuga. But the closer you look, the more there is to see . The pink teddy bear falling from the plane crash, a few Madrigal logos peppered in for good measure, and even the methylamine train heist is all there.

What details did you love about this quick recap video? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
