We already knew this was going to happen, but still, it’s nice when people confirm to us that plans haven’t changed, right? That we’re not losing another character we’ve come to know and love (cough)? Bran Stark’s real-life iteration â the actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright â let the world know that they needn’t fret about his existence after a season without him and his lumbering one-word buddy Hodor: he is 100% returning to Game of Thrones in season six.
And not only that, but things sound as though they’re going to take a turn for the weird now that â season four spoiler alert â he’s seemingly being prepped to become the three-eyed raven: “I can’t say a lot,” the actor noted to the Irish Examiner, “but I am back this season, and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions.”
Hmmm â interesting how, young Bran flakes? Interesting HOW?! “We start filming series six at the end of this month (July) so we’ll see,” he said. If anyone wants to fly us out to the set to investigate, feel free to offer. We have no problem volunteering as tribute for this one!
So now all we have to do is, well, waitâ the long winter is coming, and we don’t mean that possible but probably-not-likely mini-ice age that could hypothetically be coming our way in 2030. Although, this all feels like the dealings of Game of Thrones could become oddly more handy now.
Are you looking forward to season six of Thrones? Let’s hear it in the comments.
