Since it debuted at BlizzCon, the Warcraft movie trailer has been viewed more than 12 million times. Sure, a good 1,500 of those were by yours truly, but the trailer was something of a watershed moment for fans who have been patiently waiting for a comprehensive look at the Duncan Jones-directed film. We gave our reactions to you yesterday on Nerdist News, in which we broke down everything in the high-flying trailer, but we were curious as to what the fans at BlizzCon thought about it. After all, these are ostensibly the people who are most passionate about the source material and, therefore, likely to have the strongest opinions about what was presented yesterday.
To find out, we sent our intrepid reporter Lisa S. into the veritable Stranglethorn Vale that is the convention floor to get the skinny from true blue Warcraft fans. Then we encountered a familiar face. A very familiar face. One that we think you’ll definitely notice, senpai. Let’s just say that things go further off the rails than a Detroit Satanist rally. So kick back, relax, and uncork a tiny wine because you absolutely need to see this.
What did you think of the Warcraft trailer? Where do you think Onyx the Fortuitous will pop up next? Let us know in the comments below.
