Bill Hicks’ RELENTLESS Hits the Big Screen Monday in Fathom Event

Fathom Events is the place to go when you want to see things you won’t necessarily find on the front page of Fandango. From the opera to UFC events to live Rifftrax, Fathom has a way of eventually finding something for everyone. My experience with Fathom includes a screening of The Day of the Doctor, the 50th anniversary special, and Monty Python Live (Mostly). Both events were really fun, and this Monday, April 27th will be no different as Fathom hosts a showing of Bill Hicks’ Relentless.

Relentless is a 1992 comedy special Hicks recorded at the Centaur Theatre in Montreal. Ever on the “offensive,” Hicks takes on non-smokers, people in the music industry who DON’T use drugs, as well as a hot topic of that era, the Gulf War. Also included in the event is a screening of Comedy Dynamics Presents: Bill Hicks. This special includes an interview with Bill’s brother Steve Hicks, along with never before seen stand-up footage and other personal videos.

What’s great about Fathom is that they are not relegated to one specific city. If you head on over to the Fathom home page, you can find where Relentless is playing near you, as well as secure your tickets. As of right now, Monday is the only scheduled showing of this classic comedy special, so please act fast if you’d like to partake.

Relentless runs approximately 90 minutes and begins at 8pm local time at participating theaters.

Have you seen Relentless before? Are you excited to see it again on the big screen? Will this be your first time at a Fathom Event? Let us know your thoughts and reactions in the comments below.
