We can’t quite find the right word to describe how we feel about the announcement from Funko that they are releasing two new figures featuring one of our all-time favorite cinematic duos. Great? No, that’s not it. Terrific? Nope, still not right. Awesome? Hmm, closer.
Oh, yeah, this news is totally excellent.
Because Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted “Theodore” Logan, the stars of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey, a.k.a. the Wyld Stallyns, a.k.a. the guys responsible for bringing the most bodacious peace to the world, a.k.a. the pair that beat the Grim Reaper himself, will soon be able to make your work station a lot cooler, dudes, thanks to Funko.

In addition to the Bill and Ted figures (available in December), Funko also announced a new Pop! figure for the vintage arcade game character Q*Bert (available “this fall”), as well as as a new 12 figure Mystery Minis series for My Little Pony, that features Spike and Mare “ready to defend Maretropolis from super-villains!” The set also has the “Power Ponies, including Radiance, Masked Matter-Horn, and Fili-Second,” and even their arch nemesis Mane-iac, all of which you can get now.
Hopefully Bill and Ted are just the start, and eventually we get figures of Rufus, the princesses, Napolean, Socrates, the Grim Reaper, Station, the evil robot Bill and Teds, and the good robot Bill and Teds. In fact, if someone from the future would come back and let us know if those characters get their own Pop figures, we’d be most appreciative, future dudes!
What most excellent place will you keep your Bill and Ted Pop figures? Party on with your thoughts in the comments below.
