I’m sorry, I couldn’t get passed episode two, this show is way to pretentious. Tom seems like a nice guy, but really struggles to get passed the “I was Biff” thing. He acts like he’s more than that, but he really isn’t, sorry.

Same thing with episode two, I had to wipe the smug from my ears listening to those two “actors” talking.

I’m not trolling or anything, just giving an honest opinion, this was really disappointing.

  2. Rob III says:

Besides being hilarious, the biggest reason I keep listening to Chris Hardwick on the Nerdist is because he seems like a legitamately nice guy. Tom, I’ve been a fan for a while, and after having listened to these first 3 podcasts, the Nerist seems to be a “nice guy” magnet! This is going to be awesome!

Plus, I’m loving the “support the arts” messages. Keep talking art — you’re the now the arts expert of Nerdist Industries — GO GO GO!!

  3. RobertK says:

Just got to listen to the podcast. Laughed through the entire show… Can’t wait to hear more. Loved ya on The Nerdist and the Bob and Tom Show… Can’t wait for more!

  4. Cassandra says:

    YAAAAY! Subscribed…it was awesome.

Big C, now Chris the pretzel selling monkey? =D

    Keep’em comin’ Tom!!

  5. Kyle S. says:

Great intro episode! You have such a good persona to listen to, there’s a real genuine vibe to what you say and I’m sure I’m not the only person who hears that. I guess my only hope is that you bring on guests in the future episode. You tell great stories, but your back-and-forth with the nerdist guys was absolutely hilarious! I hope at the very least you bring on a sidekick. But either way this is great, and I hope it takes off and stays worth your time to do it. Thanks!

  6. Ben Z says:

I liked the episode, Tom! I just have a question. Do you have a good website that I can hear some of your standup? After you being on Nerdist, then Todd Glass drooling over how great he thinks you are, I want to hear some, but I can only find random clips here and there.

  7. the cheat says:

Tom! that was a good show, keep it up!

  8. NG says:

I’ve been a fan of his comedy for years. I even made my mother go with me to see one of his shows. Yay for this podcast!

  9. Deej says:

And thusly I am subscribed! For some reason the line from the song “Its a MOVIE” keep rolling around in my head. Just something about the delivery cracks me up. I must acquire the schmancy version.

  10. Chris S says:

I thought the JD stuff was great, isn’t it nice knowing people read? Anyways, this was a really fun podcast, I look forward to more and hope they get longer! Thanks!

  11. Philb says:

Tom Wilson is one of the funniest human beings alive! Great choice to have him a regular here. Followers will be coming soon.

  12. Rob Paulse says:

One of the funniest, most talented and nicest humans I know and clearly able to cast pods with the best of ’em. Also, a not too shabby #11 on George Takei’s “People I want to see naked after cataract surgery” list. However, after listening to only 1 podcast, I suspect #10 better watch his backside. George is. Are you listening, Roger Clinton?

  13. Iain says:

Right on Tom, keep it going!

  14. Miguel says:

The JD Salinger stuff at the beginning was boring (and I almost turned it off), but Tom came back and was funny.

  15. Jake says:

for some reason i find this podcast very soothing, keep it up!

  16. Brian says:

Man that was really enjoyable. I can’t wait for the next one!!!

  17. Sawyer says:

Well, now you gotta add one more podcast to even out the grid at 12. But I’m guessing that’s already in the works, isn’t it?

  18. Tony says:

I liked it, but it was a tad boring, maybe us British people miss some of the references? I will tune in again, as I am a fan , but found it a little 60’s. sorry 🙂

  19. Nick says:

Oh, Tom is so modest, also funny 😀

    Thanks Nerdist!

  20. Kass says:

Wait, this isn’t Tom Wilson the famous physicist’s podcast?? I’m out…

This was really fun to listen to- I’m definitely subscribing. Thanks!

  21. Mandy W. says:

I’m so glad that Nerdist Industries has added Tom Wilson to their podcast empire. This man is hilarious! I’ll be honest, I had no clue he was a stand up comic, artist or so damn interesting & funny. I look forward to listening to the next episodes.

  22. CXRengel says:

Congrats to Tom! He was a great guest on the Nerdist podcast as well.
