Wherever Batman goes, the Joker is never far behind. The Dark Knight has had more than enough problems on his hands through the first three episodes of Batman: The Telltale Series. But now, Bruce Wayne will have to face the Joker as himself, without the benefit of his masked alter ego!
Telltale Games has released a new trailer for “Guardian of Gotham,” the fourth episode of Batman: The Telltale Series. In this clip, we see that Bruce has been imprisoned in Arkham Asylum, where the Joker has seemingly recognized a darkness within him…even if the Clown Prince of Crime hasn’t yet realized that his greatest enemy is right in front of him.
Unfortunately for Bruce, there are even bigger problems waiting for him once he gets back to Gotham City. Mayor Harvey Dent has clearly lost his mind, as Jim Gordon faces trumped up charges. Even Alfred is under threat as Harvey sends his forces into Wayne Manor while Bruce makes a final appeal for the soul of his friend.
However, the Children of Arkham are still the greater threat, and their leader has seemingly disappeared from public view. Batman knows that he’s been played, but it may be too late to stop “Lady Arkham” from destroying the Wayne legacy that he’s tried so hard to restore.
You won’t have to wait long to play the next chapter in this series. “Guardians of Gotham” will go live on Tuesday, November 22.
