Behold The VOLTRON: LEGENDARY DEFENDER Wondercon Exclusive Lithograph

Some people are eagerly awaiting Captain America: Civil War, some are frantically champing at the bit for Game of Thrones, and others still are losing their minds over the newly announced seasons of FLCL. As for me, my most anticipated new show of 2016 is Voltron: Legendary Defender. The brand-new animated series from DreamWorks Animation comes to Netflix later this year, and will give fans their first new Voltron series since 2011’s Voltron Force. However, apart from the series’ title, as well as the showrunners, Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery—both of which were exclusively revealed by Nerdist—little is actually known about the series. However, all that will change this weekend at WonderCon.

Hosted by our own Jessica Chobot, the Voltron: Legendary Defender panel will give audiences a first look at the upcoming animated series. It kicks off later today at 6PM PT in Room 151. Here’s the official panel description:

“From days of long ago and uncharted regions of the universe comes DreamWorks Animation’s Voltron: Legendary Defender! Hosted by Nerdist’s Jessica Chobot, join Executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos (The Legend of Korra, Avatar: The Last Airbender), co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery (The Legend of Korra), writer Tim Hedrick (The Legend of Korra, Avatar: The Last Airbender) and special guests as they unite to form this years can’t-miss panel of WonderCon 2016! Be sure first in the galaxy to get a sneak peek of this highly-anticipated event, as DreamWorks Animation unveils never-before-seen artwork and footage of the all-new Netflix Original Series. Panel attendees will receive a WonderCon exclusive limited edition Voltron lithograph.”

That’s right: in case the lure of knowledge wasn’t enough for you, know that all attendees will receive this limited edition WonderCon-exclusive Voltron: Legendary Defender lithograph. Here’s your exclusive sneak peek:

I don’t know about you, but I would commit several misdemeanors to get my hands on one of those bad boys. In the meantime, if you want to learn more about the series’ showrunners, Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery, watch Jessica Chobot break it down on Nerdist News:

And if you’re going to be at WonderCon, and would like this lithograph signed by Dos Santos, Montgomery, and Supervising Producer Kihyun Ryu, then head to Booth 2458 in the Exhibit Hall from 1-2pm on Saturday, March 26!

Will you be attending the Voltron: Legendary Defender WonderCon panel? Let us know in the comments below!

Plus, come say hi to us and Geek & Sundry at Booth #1631 all weekend long!
