Behold All the Fire and Blood of the MAD MAX: FURY ROAD International Trailer

George Miller’s loooong-awaited fourth Mad Max film is almost upon us. We’ve already seen its “First Look” Comic-Con Trailer and its teaser trailer. Now we’ve got the first international trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, and though it runs a little shorter than the two previous previews, it somehow registers as even more epic. Maybe its that credit scrawl across the bottom of the screen…

Tom Hardy’s done a lot of fine work over the years, so it’s a little unfair that half his face was covered for his most widely seen performance (as Bane in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises). But if Mad Max: Fury Road is half as good as its trailers make it look, he should immediately rise to the ranks of the world’s top action stars. Along with Charlize Theron, whose Furiosa gives Max a run for his petrol when he teams up with her to cross a near infinite desert of deadly peril — whilst targeted by crazed baddies Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) and Nux (Nicholas Hoult)! We’ll witness the full madness that results when Mad Max: Fury Road opens on May 15th.

For more Fury Road fun, check out the four-part prequel miniseries coming from DC’s Vertigo imprint — Nux & Immortan — and the art book curated by director George Miller himself — Mad Max: Fury Road: Inspired Artists.

Note: Thanks to Comic Book Resources for bringing the above trailer to our attention.
