Become Heisenbrick with the “Breaking Bad” Superlab LEGO Playset

Just in case you haven’t overdosed on all things Breaking Bad already today – although after last night’s amazing episode and Badger’s animated Star Trek pitch, how could you? – the toy titans over at Citizen Brick have released a suitably epic Breaking Bad Superlab LEGO playset. Now in addition to haunted Victorian houses and LEGO Wimbledon, you can add a methamphetamine factory to your brick-based fantasy worlds. Retailing for $250, the set includes over 500 premium printed minifigs, tiles and bricks, including tiny, claw-handed versions of Gustavo Fring, Walter White, and Mike Ehrmantraut. No word yet on whether or not there’s a fly hidden somewhere within.

mixed thoughts on this one….saw photos of it last year when it was likely just a 1-off by an uber creative fan…im STOKED that its being made available to the public but really really turned off by the exhorbanant price….i understand the idea of low volume items being marked up…and that lego is, by its very nature, marked up alot….but even factoring in both of those i dont think its fair to charge over $75-ish.

  2. Bryan says:

@Topher Riddle, @Dan Casey: It does, the head is double sided.

  3. luckymustard says:

    – the Korova Milk Bar from A Clockwork Orange
    – the barracks and latrine from Full Metal Jacket
    – the Overlook Hotel from The Shining
    – Discovery One from 2001: A Space Odyssey

  4. David says:

    Nice Lego meth lab.

    I’d like to see:

    – the Bad-a-Bing from The Sopanos
    – the bowling alley from Big Lebowski
    – the warehouse from Reservoir Dogs
    – the Underworld from Platoon

  5. Dan Casey says:

@Topher Riddle, you’re a sick man, but I like the way you think.

  6. The Gus Fring minifig should have an alternate head for the season 4 finale version. I’ve tried to avoid spoiling it for those who aren’t there yet.

  7. laura says:

there should be a chris hardwick one. have lots of backgrounds, from the nerdist, the talking dead and talking bad, a bowling alley, web soup, comicon, etc etc. just give ’em some costumes and props(boba helmet, cowboy hat, cheesy tee, maybe a slave leia outfit, lightsaber…) yer seeing $$ now, aren’t ya? hahaha you’re welcome!
