When last we encountered Nick Bertke, a/k/a Pogo, the remixer was chopping up the Wizard of Oz soundtrack to create a track that, matched up with a great animation, was pretty amazing. Now, Pogo’s sliced, diced, and chopped voices and drums from The Mighty Boosh for this:
“I think we’ve found our new sound, Naboo.” Yes, Howard, it appears so.
Not a Boosh fan? Pogo’s done similar mixes using everything from Pixar movies to Willy Wonka and Harry Potter, H.R. Pufnstuf to Disney. Go listen and/or follow.

I usually like quirky British humor, but it just never caught me. Then again, I also though both versions of The Office were a waste of time. I guess it’s just my particular funny bone that’s in the wrong demographic for either show?
Great mashup. Love The Mighty Boosh!
Really Great mashup! (But it needed more Shamans!)
I saw Eric Idle on Jay Leno a couple years ago. Leno asked him who he thought was funny, and Idle mention the Mighty Boosh. Leno could only ask, Who?
Um, who isn’t a Boosh fan?! Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I went to one of his (few) live shows. He’s an amazing musician, but too bad his Kickstarter project to travel the world, and sample/remix sounds from different cities.
This is definitely my favorite Pogo mix to date. Loved the bits from Hitcher. I hope he makes a mix for Series 2 and 3 as well.
yes! some new music to add to my playlist.
took me a minute, but i like that 🙂 nice one pogo
This was friggin’ awesome, I’m def checking out the rest of his stuff.
I like Noel Fielding on Buzzcocks, but Boosh did nothing for me. I like both the video and the song. It just goes to show you that anything Pogo touches turns to gold.
