There will be naps galore in everyone’s future after we eat our collective body weight in turkey on this Thanksgiving day, but first: there has been an awakening. Disney and Lucasfilm have given Star Wars fans yet another reason to be thankful this year by releasing a new minute-long trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In addition a familiar yet prodigious warning from Supreme Leader Snoke, the trailer is chockablock with new footage, explosions, and face-offs between Kylo Ren (Adam Drive), Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).

Did you guys remember that Oscar Isaac is in this movie? I nearly forgot given how much the previous trailers have focused on Rey and Finn, so it was a pleasant surprise to see Poe Dameron take to the not-so-friendly skies. “All teams give it everything you got,” the ace X-wing pilot shouts as a squadron of Resistance ships do mid-air melee with First Order TIE Fighters.
But they aren’t the only spacecraft taking flight in the minute-long trailer; in addition to some explosive space battles, we’re treated to a shot of the Millennium Falcon screaming out of a wintry forest. Maybe Han and Chewie took it up there for a ski vacation? Only time will tell. Judging by the heavy blaster fire they’re under, time may be of the essence for our favorite scruffy-looking nerf herder and his furry friend.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on December 18, 2015.
