BATMAN V SUPERMAN First Look Pictures Are Here!

As we get closer to San Diego Comic-Con, we are expecting serious hype from Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, and their Cinematic Universe. With no Hall H presentation from Marvel this year, DC is going have the run of the place, and they seem to want to get everyone pumped as soon as possible. Entertainment Weekly has just released a series of never-before-seen photos from Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and you can catch their full gallery in the bottom of this post. Get ready kids, because the hype train is in motion.

Batman V Superman

Entertainment Weekly starts their Comic-Con issue off strong with a cover shot of DC’s Trinity of Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Henry Cavill in their costumes for the film. Other photos include the first stand-off between Batman and Superman in the rain, as well as Batman with the Bat Signal from the Comic-Con footage that was shown last year. EW also added little behind-the-scenes tidbits to each photo, and has confirmed that Batman’s heavy armor suit is majorly reinforced, augments his strength, and utilizes kryptonite. This will mark the first introduction of Superman’s infamous weakness in DC’s new film series, and it is an interesting choice to have Batman be the one who brings it into the fold.

We are also treated to a picture of Affleck and Gadot in their Sunday Best attending some sort of gala event as Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince. Affleck comments that the shot represents a “Thomas Crowne Affair, Bond-y sexy scene.” Apparently both are already aware of the other’s secret identity, but don’t know that the other knows. Check out the entire gallery of Entertainment Weekly’s pictures below, including Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor with hair! Don’t forget to leave a comment below and let us know what you hope to see in the newest DC movie next year.
