Batman Can’t Protect Gotham in BATMAN: THE TELLTALE SERIES Trailer

Editor’s Note: This post contains spoilers for Batman: The Telltale Series. Proceed with caution if you’re not caught up.

Hot off the heels of Rocksteady’s stellar Arkham series’ conclusion, Telltale Games (The Walking Dead series, The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead: Michonne) took on a Batman game of their own. Featuring the voice talents of Troy Baker (as Batman), and Laura Bailey (as Selina Kyle), the comic book-style Batman: The Telltale Series is nearly already three episodes in to its five season run, and we’ve been loving it so far. To get you pumped for the latest episode “New World Order,” Telltale released the official launch trailer. Check it out at the top of the page.

At the end of “Children of Arkham” players were either given a chance to save Harvey Dent or Selena Kyle. If Catwoman is saved, half of Dent’s face is burned. But if you chose to save Dent, Catwoman was shot before getting away. The trailer above shows the aftermath of the first option. As Batman noted, Harvey won’t be the same after what happened. Anyone familiar with Two Face’s story knows how true that statement rings.

But that’s not the only thing Bruce is dealing with. Following the attack, the mysterious Children of Arkham appeared and released a full list of all of the innocent people Thomas Wayne had forcibly committed to Arkham Asylum. As we saw in the trailer above, Bruce will be asked to step down from his position.

Here’s the official description of Episode 3: “New World Order”…

Penguin’s brutal attack broadcast on live TV has left Gotham City reeling. As Bruce and Batman, you’ll dig deeper into the web of intrigue surrounding the newly revealed Children of Arkham.

Meanwhile, behind closed doors, the mysterious Selina Kyle reveals more of herself to Bruce. And in the aftermath of the attack, Bruce’s friend and Gotham’s new mayor, Harvey Dent, is a deeply changed man. Who can be trusted when the future of Bruce Wayne – and the Batman – could be determined by the flip of a coin?

Episode 3: “New World Order” is available tomorrow, October 25, on Xbox One, PC, PS4 (NA), PS3 (NA), and will be available a few days later on October 27 for PS4 (EU) and PS3 (EU).
