AVENGERS Ant-Man and Hulk Fight Over Can of Coke

Marvel fans thought that Scott Lang’s introduction to the rest of the heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (besides Falcon) would be this May with the release of Captain America: Civil War. Thanks to Coca-Cola, we get to see his next interaction with one of them a little early.

In Coca-Cola’s Super Bowl ad, Ant-Man breaks into Bruce Banner’s lab and decides to steal the last Coca-Cola mini. Let’s just say Bruce was less than enthused with that plan and a chase ensues through the streets of New York. As the Incredible one corners the Astonishing one in an ally, your classic “let’s put our differences aside for the greater good” cliche occurs. Friendships are restored, and thirsts are quenched.

While the majority of the ad is CGI, that’s Paul Rudd reprising his role as Ant-Man. Since we only saw a shadow of Bruce Banner, it looks like Mark Ruffalo did not do the motion capture for the Hulk. Maybe he argued about the continuity errors of the commercial because he disappeared at the end of Age of Ultron and Ant-Man had only met Falcon. Then he must have realized that this is just a silly and really fun commercial and debates about canon should be saved for another time.

Ant-Man and the Hulk Will Return.

So what do you think? What other teams ups would you like to see? Better yet, what food product would you like them to come in conflict over? Let me know on Twitter or sound off in the comments below.
