Riverdale super fans will be pleased to hear that the folks over at Archie Comics will soon be releasing the third trade paperback collection of the latest comic book exploits of the characters as we know them on the CW series. These are all new stories starring Archie Andrews, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, and the entire Riverdale gang, showcasing just what they were up to in between episodes of the series.

(And rest assured: They may be returning to their original comic book forms, but Archie and company have come along way from their wholesome origins. These are the Riverdale versions of the characters you know and love.)

Riverdale: Volume 3 collects issues 9 through 12 of the current ongoing series, reminding us why we’re always excited to read new works from its reliable creative team. Represented here are writers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Murray, and Aaron Allen. Over on art duty, we have Thomas Pitilli, Andre Szymanowicz, Janice Chiang, and John Workman.
