Another Peek Behind the Scenes Of “The Hobbit”

Oh, hey, another production video from Peter Jackson on the set of The Hobbit was released this weekend, with more shots of the spectacular locations and a look at the logistics of shipping massive amounts of equipment and people to remote areas. You get lots of looks at a village and folks in costume. And the Prime Minister of New Zealand drops by, too. And livestock.  Lots of livestock.  It’s pretty interesting to see how they create Middle Earth out of rolling countryside.

Great clip as always. PJ sure has piled on the pounds again, too much craft services?

One of the saddest bits of my first trip to NZ (there must be another some day) was the fact that there were no hobbit holes in Matamata. But I would love to go back and see it again, how amazing would that be!
