Andy Samberg and Adam Levine Sang Lonely Island’s New POPSTAR Song on THE VOICE

We know he would never say it, but last night The Voice welcomed the biggest and brightest star to ever grace its stage: the one and only Conner4Real, singing his hit song “I’m So Humble” with one of the show’s very own coaches, Adam Levine.

In one of the most natural in-show promos we have ever seen, Andy Samberg, in character as his Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping persona of Conner4Real (along with one other guest we won’t spoil before you get a chance to watch), was joined by Levine to sing about why Conner just doesn’t feel the need to tell you about how great he is.

I guess, in a way
Being gracious
Is my weakness
People say
I’m so unpretentious
For a genius

On top of performing, Conner took some time to sit with the nine remaining contestants to give them advice on how to make it in the music business, his thoughts on the industry today, “performance” issues, and his plans to combine Beyonce’s Lemonade with Vanilla Ice lyrics to create something he would call Arnold Palmer.

“Being extremely famous is the best thing that can ever happen to you and there is absolutely no downside.”

Classic Conner.

We aren’t surprised by this performance, though we are slightly disappointed we didn’t get to see hologram Adam Levine, like the one that performs with Conner in the trailer for this new movie from The Lonely Island.

It was just yesterday that the first two songs from the movie were released, but we have to wait until next month, June 3, for the movie to come to theaters. Maybe we’ll be treated to more stunts like this in the meantime.
