And the Winner of Comic-Con 2014 Is…

Howdy, friends, and welcome back to Nerdist News! Though we’ve put a pin in San Diego Comic-Con for 2014, that doesn’t mean we’re done talking about it! As we make our way back to work this fine Monday morning, we’ve got a very, very important question for you: who won Comic-Con 2014?

Was it Marvel, who titillated fans with Ant-Man, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Guardians of the Galaxy reveals? Will Warner Bros. swoop in to steal the prize with our first look at Wonder Woman’s costume, some Batman v Superman footage, and that killer Mad Max: Fury Road trailer? Did Legendary take the cake with its interactive Crimson Peak and Pacific Rim booth, official Warcraft logo, and monster movie announcements? What about shows like The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones?!

We’ve also got a message for our spectacular showroom floor correspondent CM Punk, as well as all the fans who showed up for our Borderlands: Pre-Sequel laser tag, stage interviews, and our panels throughout the weekend. We love you all.

Who do you think won Comic-Con this year? What were some of your favorite moments? Sound off in the comments below or let us know on Twitter! Thanks for joining us for Comic-Con 2014 and stay tuned this week for even more Nerdist News.

Nerdist, your video player kinda sucks. It’s extremely laggy and hard to watch. Please fix or use YouTube.

  11. Susannah says:

Rachel/Nerdist…..if your finger is not on the Orphan Black pulse you are missing out! The love shown by fans this weekend was impressive and only equalled by the humility and generosity of the OB cast and crew. With tons of Cosplay, honorary Emmy’s and a line worthy of Ballroom 20, OB fans showed BBCA and SDCC we mean business. ALSO h/t to a show featuring several strong female characters and bucking gender norms.Get on it Nerdist! 🙂

Stephen Amell wins.  He also wins the internet. 😉

  18. Ben says:

Would have been nice to actually know what some of those Mystery Dates from Marvel are going to be, and lack of any and all Doctor Strange news was a disappointment (assuming that was because Feige couldn’t close a deal with someone to play Strange in time, but still a bummer). Excited for Guardians 2 though! favorite Marvel property

  19. Chap says:

Warner Bros. wins with the Batman V Superman teaser.  2nd place goes to Image Comics for all of their announcements.
