American Horror Story follows different themes each season, but things are somehow all related. To prove it, an upcoming crossover is going to tie Murder House and Coven together. In the Future… American Horror Story: Coven and Murder House are going to connect in an upcoming season, crossover style. Appearing at Entertainment Weekly‘s PopFest, creator Ryan Murphy spilled about the crossover. He said, “There will be characters from Murder House and characters from Coven together. I’ve [already] started going to actors from both of the seasons, quietly, saying, ‘I think in this window, if you could fit us in.’ So yeah, it’s fun. It’s weird.” Learn more here at Nerdist.
Dream Team. A host of CW stars stopped by EW’s PopFest over the weekend, and they took a moment to pose for this perfect photo. As Arrow star Stephen Amell says, “This is the crossover we need.” Yes, please. I’d be all about the Winchester brothers from Supernatural popping into the Arrow-verse to handle what appears to be a metahuman but is actually a monster. Someone make it so. [CBR]
Daredevil-Verse. With Daredevil making a splash on Netflix, Marvel’s broadening its comic book offerings in that arena. In addition to their ongoing Daredevil title, they’re dropping three new series in February 2017: Elektra, Kingpin, and Bullseye. Both Elektra and Kingpin have appeared in the Daredevil TV series, so does this mean Bullseye is coming to Hell’s Kitchen? It sure seems likely. Get all the details right this way.
First at the Helm. The director for the first two episodes of Marvel’s The Defenders has been announced: S.J. Clarkson. She worked on Jessica Jones, and Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb said, “S.J.’s take on the material is outstanding. We loved her work on Marvel’s Jessica Jones and couldn’t think of a more talented and accomplished person to helm the first two episodes of Marvel’s The Defenders.” [Slashfilm]
Careful Inking. Illustrating baked goods is difficult work—just ask Tom Hovey. He’s the artist responsible for the beautiful drawings on The Great British Bake Off. The illustrations are uber-detailed, and it takes time and skill to create them. Hovey turned it up to 11 for the companion coloring book for the competition; he shared some time lapse videos showing off what looks like millions of lines. I’m mesmerized… and hungry. [Nerdist]
Special Laughs. IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang! is on its way out the door after five seasons. They’re in the midst of airing the final season now, and Derrick has some thoughts about why the series is unique and worth your time.
Ending Redux. Happy Endings was cancelled by ABC after three seasons, but the cast got back together again at EW’s PopFest (apparently everything happened there this weekend). They even did a live reading of a fresh episode written by series creator David Caspe and the original writing staff. It’s not a sign of a revival but instead, the “lost” episode was one final goodbye. Read all about it at TVLine.

TWD to SPN. Jeffrey Dean Morgan may be Negan in The Walking Dead, but he’ll always be John Winchester to myself and thousands of other Supernatural fans—Papa Winchester, even. The two worlds recently came together thanks to Twitter. Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) found his very own Lucille and hilarity ensued.
