Adorable Cartoon Mouse Hangs With BB-8, Pikachu, and More!

Ever wish you could hang out with your favorite animated pop culture heroes like BB-8, Mickey Mouse, and Pikachu? Swiss artist Loïc Apreda (a.k.a. “Apredart“) may not have done it himself, but his little creation, a cartoon mouse named Rikiki has seen it all! Apreda has drawn Rikiki with everyone from Yoda to Remy from Ratatouille to Snoopy to Baymax from Big Hero 6.

He uses a cool technique, with objects from the real world in his drawings to break the fourth wall. He doesn’t just have Rikiki palling around with celebrity cartoon creatures. He’s also got him in “real-life” situations, including chowing down on pizza, catching butterflies and sitting on a bench with flowers, lovestruck over some other little fuzzy mousie. He steals peanuts, pops popcorn and listens to music in real-life headphones. Are you dying of cute yet?

You can also check out Apreda’s Facebook page and Instagram to see more adorable Rikiki drawings. We’ve got a sampling from his Instagram page below. Of himself, Apreda said (in his Instagram bio), “Loïc, 27, self taught illustrator (in my dreams I can live from it)” Dude, we’re pretty sure you could. Once you start scrolling down that page, you’re going to be lost for a few hours, making noises only a dog can hear.

Check out some of his creations below and thank your lucky stars that we’re not bringing this story to you on a weekday! Your boss should thank us, too. Tweet me/us @JennaBusch/@Nerdist and tell us which one is your favorite. I’m going with Baymax. That’s a lot of squishy sweetness in one pic!
