Is it just me, or are things getting crazier in Japan? It wasn’t long ago that we were talking about the kitty jumpsuit, and that seemed like a hard sell (though awesome for cuddling). But this product is even more wacky: a spray that makes everything smell like the back of your cat’s head!

Granted, if you’re a cat parent, or have ever hung out with a cat long enough to smell its head, you know that we’re not just talking about a fleeting smell of sweetness. No, this is a lasting aroma that’s similar to a baby’s head, or a brand new stuffed animal (unless the cat has just been in the kitty litter). But would you want everything to smell like that? Hmmm, maybe?

The story is that Felissimo teamed with Yamamoto Perfumery for this kitty scent project, and spent four months visiting cat cafe’s (because they exist in Japan) and researching different feline heads to bottle the perfect scent. The result is Fluffy Brow Scented Fabric Water, on sale in Japan for around $9.99 each. Is this the purrrfect stocking stuffer for cat lovers, or what?

I’m imagining those lonely nights away from my cat, and this could kinda come in handy. I’m not even joking, but then again I am REALLY into cats and other domestic pets (not in a weird way).
