A New TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION Trailer and Poster Have Arrived!

Let’s cut right to the chase, shall we? There’s a new trailer out for Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, and we have it for you now:

Right, so remember when the first trailer came out and we said things looked scaled down for the what is the franchise norm? Yeah, we were wrong. Was that a cruise liner being dropped in the streets? We think yes.

Something that’s really cool about this trailer is that this entry in Bay’s series seems to be diving into a lot of the really sci-fi elements of the Transformers as a race. At least that’s what the whole “this is what they’re made of bit” would have us believe. Also, it appears like Wahlberg is holding his own rather well against Optimus Prime. No small task, but of course we’re coming to this for the fighting robots, and there are fighting robots aplenty in this new trailer. Also, Dinobots, and Dinobots are awesome.

But that’s not the only fighting robot coolness floating around the web! Paramount has also released a brand new poster for the film:

If there’s one thing this franchise has almost consistently done better than its tentpole competitors, it’s the marketing, and this new poster is no exception. That’s one we want on our wall.

And wait, because there’s one more thing for you to see.

In the past, with every new Transformers entry, Linkin Park would provide a new single, but with a new trilogy comes new music thanks to the world’s new favorite rock band, Imagine Dragons. Earlier in the week, a teaser was released of the band’s new song, “Battle Cry”, that will play into the film:

We know that’s a lot of stuff we just threw at you, so take a moment, sort through it and let us know what you liked best in the comments below.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters June 27th.

  1. Lame says:

Wow, what a huge step in the wrong direction as far as the main song goes. Linkin Parks music was almost an anthem for the first 3 films…instantly recognizable as Transformers. This is not nearly on the same level. LPs price must have skyrocketed.

  2. Meh... says:

This would be way better with Linkin Park.

  3. Fuck says:

Imagine dragons is far from rock, yet alone everyones favorite rock band…

  4. Matt says:

Ermegerd, Shia’s gone, maybe these films won’t be as boring in the first hour.

  5. Film Cutting says:

It’s the first time that lame line“Dad you can’t spend money on junk” has been spoken outside of the teaser trailer and it indicates the Yeagers’ storyline — they’re going through hard economic times.

  6. Optimus Prime uses an AXE! Why does he have to ride Grimlock like an ostrich?  He transforms into a truck!

  7. Thanks this put me right to sleep

  8. WookieeFeet says:

Needs LP. Sadly that’s all I can picture hearing when I watched the trailer.

  9. Joey says:

was that a Halo sword used as a gun?

  10. Chris Hahn says:

I am fairly excited to see this, but I’m kind of over Imagine Dragons being used as counterpoint to so many sci-fi outings in the last couple of years.

  11. Look great…still more excited for Godzilla!      First!
