A Brief Promotional Announcement For This Week’s Nerdist Writer’s Panel

Here’s a reminder for those of you in L.A., in case Halloween’s drawn your attention away from what’s going to happen the night before that, Sunday, October 30th. What? No, not pranks and mindless destruction. That, depending on where you grew up, is Devil’s Night or Hell Night or Mischief Night or, where I lived at the time, Goosie Night, a name about which I remain confused to this day. No, we’re talking about the Nerdist Writer’s Panel, hosted as always by Ben Blacker and this week featuring Thomas Lennon, of whom you most certainly are aware, being as he’s guested multiple times on the Nerdist Podcast, including the very first one, and has written every screenplay of the past 15 years, and Seth Grahame-Smith, who is the guy who wrote the genre-Cuisinart books Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, co-created MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger, and is writing the Tim Burton stab at Dark Shadows.

So you’re gonna wanna go. Tickets? Click here. If you’re at all interested in the art of writing for TV and movies, take a break from egging your neighbor’s house and TPing his trees and come on down to Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics for this one.
