Since their debut album Hybrid Theory in 2000, Linkin Park has been able to transcend the “rock-rap” phase of music, remaining an international success almost two decades later. Thanks to this video, you can see Hollywood tip their collective hats to the band.
YouTuber The Unusual Suspect has created a mash-up of 183 movies (ironically, not ONE of them was a Transformers movie) to the beat of “In The End,” the third single off the aforementioned Hybrid Theory. Starting off with Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia from Big, the video continues with cameos from the likes of The Joker, Riddick, Johnny Utah, Winston Wolfe, Maverick, and Jigsaw.
There are times when the mash-up remix video idea can seem a little played out. Then one comes along that has you noticing technical aspects of the art form that make for very impressive feats. Normally, videos like this just do their best to find clips that use the words featured in the songs’ lyrics. The Unusual Suspect took the extra effort to match the CADENCE of the words as well. Plus, anytime you can use the Darth Vader scene from Revenge of the Sith in a POSITIVE way just shows how much talent a person has.

So what do you think? What other rock-rap bands should get this treatment? Are you glad that “Nookie” wasn’t chosen? Let me know on Twitter or crawl one step closer to the comments below.
